EVENTS AT THE ARCHERY RANGE We hold our own special events at the range from time to time and will work in conjunction with the Sports and Recreation Committee, the Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Brazos River Sportsman Club, ROMEO's or any other Pecan Plantation organization interested in arranging for the use of the archery range.

TURKEY SHOOT; Saturday, November, 13, 2010 10:00AM The Pecan Plantation Archery Association has organized a Turkey Shoot open to all PPOA members who would like to have something to eat on Thanksgiving Day. Skill as an archer is not required. If you can hit the broad side of a barn at 20 paces you have a chance of winning a big beautiful frozen turkey. The Turkey shoot is open to all PPOA members, their famiiies, and guests. We will supply the bows and arrows, the Sports and Recreation Committee will supply the turkeys. We will award 3 turkeys to 3 lucky archers. There are no fees to be paid, this event is free to all participants.
